Come and share an Autumn weekend in the nature of Brandenburg, a Pranayoga Method® retreat dedicated to exploring the connection between inner fire and mental clarity in the yoga practice, supported by fasting.

The yoga practice will include Asana in the Hatha tradition, Pranayama, meditation and restorative Yoga Nidra.
Our journey will begin at the level of Manipura Chakra: seat of our metabolic fire and connected with the production, distribution and management of energy, it is also the abode of our inner authority and ego-identity. Often obscured by limiting habits, Manipura thrives when its light is purified, refined, enlightened, and allowed to shine forth in a vast inner landscape. When clear and healthy, Manipura provides incredible power and becomes the anchoring ground for the expansion and refinement of Ajna, the chakra of the mind. 


The Retreat

  • Hatha & Pranayama daily practice, 4/5 Hrs a day

The Teachers

Amanda

Amanda has been practicing yoga since childhood, growing up as she did with two yoga teachers for parents. At the age of 15, she started to practice regularly, first with the Sivananda Method and then with the Pranayoga Method of Maurizio Morelli. She is recognised by CONI (Italian Olympic Committee) as a certified trainer of teachers, having completed the Teacher Training Course and the Master Program at the Free School of Hatha Yoga Hamsa. In 2011, Amanda began teaching Hatha Yoga and meditation in Berlin. Her yoga practice is both precise and deep, creative and informed by symbolisim, subtle hints of physiology and an atuned awareness of anatomy. Great importance is given to the integration of movement and breath, the development of self awareness, and having respect for oneself and one’s body as the basis of a practice where every posture is vivified by the light of consciousness.

Amanda studies, practices and teaches the whole spectrum of the sacred path of yoga and believes in a holistic and creative approach to it. She is responsible for the Yoga TTC in Berlin.

Orsi

Orsola Carraro is a certified Pranayoga Method® practitioner and teacher of Hatha, Vinyasa, Pranayama, Yoga Nidra and fasting. As a yoga teacher, Orsi prioritizes the deepening of your personal body research. She will guide you into your physical potential; supported by self-respect, internal awareness and regular dedication. As a pranayama and breath work coach, Orsi is committed to spreading the art of breathing together with the personal transformative and creative power it carries.

In this retreat, Orsi will share with you active, strengthening flows, Solar Plexus Practice, Chakra theory and she will deepen your pranayama potential in both activating and calming directions.

Fasting

Our intention for this yoga retreat is to allow a space of inner and outer simplicity. Sensing the body as a space, we bring our attention to the transformative processes within. Through acceptance resistance is transformed in possibility.

We see fasting as a way to simplify and reduce the impact of external energetic stimuli, cleanse the bodymind and engender a state of calmness and alertness, thus enhancing our ability to sense and focus on subtler experiences and realms of existence.
Fasting can be a deeply transformative experience but can also bring about challenges and discomfort and needs to be approached with care and adequate preparation.

This is why we will open our collective space of regeneration through an online gathering two weeks prior to the retreat: a time to introduce principles and preparatory guidelines, and address doubts and questions.
The gathering will be followed by two weeks of self-paced sattvic diet, supported by plenty of yummy vegan recipes that will clear the path to the 3-day of liquid fasting at the retreat.

To open and to close our retreat we will have smoothies, juices and light soups prepared with organic ingredients, love and care.
On Saturday we will deepen the practice through an optional (and recommended) water fasting day, with optional add-ons for those who prefer to stay within the frame of liquid fasting.

The retreat is an opportunity to support body awareness, mental well-being and time to inquire inwardly. In the yoga space and communal time, we will ask you to leave the phone on the side, and highly recommend a self-defined time of digital detox for its power of enhancing the retreat transformative process.
